The Selangor U19 team advanced to the Piala Belia 2022 Semi-Finals with a big victory (8-3 aggregate) over AMD U16 in the Quarter-Final stage recently.

Firdaus Tan's squad has managed to take the throne of Group B of the Piala Belia with 26 points accumulated from eight wins, two draws and one loss.

According to the Head Coach of Selangor U19, Firdaus Tan, the hard work of the players, officials and coaches is the key to the team advancing to the Semi-Finals.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to have made it to the Semi-Final stage of the Piala Belia 2022.

I believe that the main factor for the team to reach this level is due to the hard work of everyone involved as a team. We analyze matches together and train with dedication to perform well from time to time.

I hope this team will continue to improve their performance and advance to the Finals of Piala Belia 2022, InshaaAllah," Firdaus Tan concluded the interview with his hope.

The Selangor U19 will face PJ City FC for Semi-Finals Piala Belia 2022 on August 7th and 15th.
